Our Story
How The Damp & Mould Man Came to Be
The Damp & Mould Man is a specialist division of LWR Group, Lincoln's trusted property services company. With over 15 years of experience in property maintenance and renovation, we spotted a growing problem across Lincolnshire.
Too many landlords and tenants were dealing with recurring mould problems— wasting money on surface treatments that kept failing because the root cause was never properly identified. We saw tenant complaints being dismissed as "lifestyle issues," and landlords unsure how to respond professionally.
We created The Damp & Mould Man to fill that gap: a dedicated service for thorough, HHSRS-compliant damp and mould inspections that get to the bottom of the problem — not just treat what you can see on the surface.
With the introduction of Awaab's Law and growing scrutiny of damp and mould in rented housing, professional surveys have never been more important. We're here to make that process straightforward for everyone involved.
